Paleo diet for gout?

A good friend of mine has  recently been stricken with this annoying condition which causes him to gimp around as though he was a 70 yr old ex-NFL player. Gout  is linked to metabolic syndrome right along with diabetes, CHD, cholesterol, obesity, whacked out triglycerides, atherosclerosis, alzeimer’s, and many other  undesirable conditions.
