Understand Blocks.
Every meal you are allotted so many blocks. If you are an 18 block a day person then you will allot blocks for each meal to total 18 blocks. For example (4 blocks Breakfast, 2 blocks snack, 4 blocks lunch, 2 blocks snack, 4 blocks dinner, 2 blocks snack) for a total of 18 blocks. Each block counts for 1 part protein, 1 part carb, 1 part fat. So for lunch they get 4 blocks which is 4 protein, 4 carb, 4 fat.
How many blocks is in an apple. See the link below for a list of food.
Food Block Guide
You will note that each food has a measurement listed for it. That amount is 1 block. For example in the guide Tuna is listed with 1oz, so for my morning snack I can have 2 ounces of tuna that would equal 2 blocks. You will also notice that spinach has 20 cups for 1 block, does that mean I have to eat 20 cups of spinach “no” you can eat up to 20 cups.
